Built in 1840, Uplands Inn is a historic farmhouse located in the original center of town, surrounded by fields, hills, and old-growth forests. Our rooms have been welcoming travelers and sightseers for over four decades...won't you join us too?
We also welcome you to join us for our special events that will be open to the community. How about a little Murder Mystery evening or a Reset and Revive Retreat?
With eight guest rooms, Uplands Inn is perfect for individual travelers as well as small groups like family reunions, work retreats, traveling clubs, or other events. Rent the Inn for your group or yourself and enjoy the intimacy of a comfortable home-away-from-home. We accommodate groups of up to 12-16 people for overnight and larger groups for gatherings
Our breakfast includes locally grown fresh foods including yogurt, granola, fruit, and cereal, as well as delicious homemade scones and muffins from Arcana Apothecary Tea Room.
The Inn is a true ‘Country Inn’ and traffic is minimal. Our nearest neighbors are far enough away that you will find the only night noises are the spring peepers or an occasional owl. Night skies are spectacular. We are near a good selection of restaurants, and two miles from two large lakes: Greg Lake and Pierce Lake. Both have beach areas, boat launches, and fishing available.
